Dubai - Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Thursday announced that Emaar Development’s shares would be added to its general index (GI) and to sector indices as of 7 January.

The recent add lifts the number of companies included in the DFMGI to 37 companies, the DFM added.

Emaar Development has 4 billion outstanding shares, comprising 25% free-float shares, while 1 billion of the company’s shares are included in the index sample, the Dubai-based bourse revealed.
